ACUMER 1000:
ACUMER 1000 polymer is a general purpose scale inhibitor as it is effective to inhibit precipitation of calcium carbonate, calcium oxalate, calcium sulphate, barium sulphate, and other low solubility salts.
ACUMER 1100:
ACUMER 1100 is a low molecular weight polyacrylate with a selected molecular weight around 4500 to optimize the anti-scale performance through at least three mechanisms: z Solubility enhancement by threshold effect, which reduces precipitation of low solubility inorganic salts (calcium carbonate in particular). z Crystal modification, which deforms the growing inorganic salt crystal to give small, irregular, readily fractured crystals that do not adhere well to surfaces and can be easily removed during cleaning operations. z Dispersing activity, which prevents precipitated crystals or other inorganic particles from agglomerating and depositing on surfaces.
ACUMER 1035:
ACUMER 1035 is a general purpose scale inhibitor, a dispersant designed to prevent scaling and fouling of membrane surfaces. ACUMER 1035 is particularly effective on calcium sulphate, calcium carbonate, barium sulphate and other low solubility salts. This product complies with the requirements of UL classification for drinking water treatment additives in accordance with ANSI/NSF Standard 60. Also, ACUMER 1035 contains a preservative to prevent microbiological growth during storage.
Scale inhibition and deposit control are essential for maintaining efficient and cost effective membrane operations such as RO systems. ACUMER 1035 is a general purpose scale inhibitor and dispersant used to maintain and provide longer lasting membranes in separation processes.
ACUMER 9300:
ACUMER 9300 stabilizes high solids slurries and allows lowering the viscosity to relatively low levels at the time of initial formulation and maintains a low viscosity during storage. ACUMER dispersants benefit most ceramic applications whether it be kaolin slurries, ball clay slurries, or ceramic slip grinding and dispersion.
ACUSOL 445:
ACUSOL 445 is an homopolymer of acrylic acid with an optimized molecular weight to be used in different applications such as: automatic dishwashing, powder and liquid fabric wash, laundry additives, industrial and institutional detergents. ACUSOL 445 is a key ingredient in auto-dish formulations and in institutional and industrial cleaners. It might also perform in laundry additions.
ACUSOL 445 G (Granulated Detergent Polymer):
ACUSOL 445 G polymer is one of the products of the novel ACUSOL "G" product range. This granulation process delivers a new and superior quality of high density dry polymers with characteristics allowing the optimization of the manufacturing process for detergent tablets and powders. ACUSOL 445 G is a homopolymer of acrylic acid designed for laundry and automatic dishwashing detergent formulations in powder or tablet form. Its molecular weight is optimized to provide the required dispersing and scale inhibition properties, in different applications where precipitation risks are encountered. This granulation unit has been built to match on an industrial scale the specifications required for high density polymers adapted to modern formulations of detergent tablets and powders desired by the consumers.

ACUMER 2000:
ACUMER 2000 polymer is designed to provide superior stabilization of calcium phosphate. It also demonstrates excellent stabilization of zinc and calcium carbonate. In addition ACUMER 2000 is a strong dispersant in keeping the silt and commonly encountered inorganic particles suspended and in preventing their settling out onto heat transfer surfaces.
ACUMER 2200:
ACUMER 2200 is a highly effective scale inhibitor in industrial water treatment. ACUMER 2200 is a low molecular weight carboxylate copolymer that offers superior precipitation inhibition for calcium carbonate and other sparingly soluble salts. It shows good activity over a wide pH range, water hardness and temperature conditions. ACUMER 2200 contains no phosphorus, making its use acceptable where legislation requires that discharge waters contain low or no phosphorus.

DEMTROL 1040 :
DEMTROL™ 1040 Demulsifier Base is a propylene oxide/ethylene oxide (PO/EO) polyol block copolymer with an approximate average molecular weight of 2,500 Daltons. This demulsifier base is ideal for developing demulsifier formulations for the quick and effective separation of water from water-in-oil emulsions. DEMTROL 1040 is mostly useful in applications involving high-salinity oils, such as the material found in pre-salt regions, and it has a wide API range. Since solvents are not used during the production process, its final active content is approximately 100 percent.

ACUMER 9420
ACUMER 9420 high performance mining polymer is efficient to stabilize mineral slurries and to minimize the viscosity to low level at the time of initial formulation and to maintain a low viscosity during storage. It exhibits superiority for the lowest viscosities in high solids mineral slurries, even under the most extreme conditions (such as under heat conditions).
ACUMER 5000 polymer
Cooling water reuse is frequently limited by a ceiling on the amount of tolerable silica in the recirculation water. Normally, if silica levels exceed about 180 ppm SiO2, severe scaling can occur on heat transfer surfaces. Moreover, the scale that forms is frequently difficult or impossible to remove by conventional means. ACUMER 5000 silica control polymer has now raised that ceiling to at least 300 ppm SiO2, proven by exacting pilot studies and field trials, allowing for greater water reuse than ever before. ACUMER 5000 polymer prevents silica-based scale formation by dispersing colloidal silica and by preventing magnesium silicate scale formation at the heat transfer surfaces.
ACUMER 6600
Acumer® 6600 is a highly effective bio-dispersant for industrial water treatment. Acumer 6600 is based on a carboxylated polyelectrolyte copolymer having a certain hydrophobic character that offers superior dispersing properties for organic and inorganic particles. It shows good activity over a wide pH range, water hardness and temperature conditions. Acumer 6600 contains no phosphorus, making its use acceptable where legislation requires that discharge waters contain low or no phosphorus.
Acumer 6600 can also be used in boilers. Its high thermal stability combined with high dispersing effect for organic and inorganic materials will allow keeping boilers free from any scale and sludge deposit. Acumer 6600, due to its hydrophobic part, is weakly surface active and can produce some foam at high dosage. However, at normal use levels, Acumer 6600 should present no foaming problem.
ROMAX™ 7200 (Scale Inhibitor/Dispersant):
ROMAX 7200 is a low molecular weight carboxylate copolymer which combines excellent precipitation inhibition and dispersing activity in the same polymer through at least three mechanisms:

Monoethanolamine (MEA)
DOW Monoethanolamine (MEA) offers a broad spectrum of application opportunities, primarily in detergents, personal care products, textile finishing and wood treating. Other applications include use as “down hole” in oil well chemicals and in metalworking to prevent corrosion, and as catalysts that promote stability during the reaction process in the manufacture of flexible and rigid urethane foams. Because MEA combines the properties of amines and alcohols, MEA exhibits the unique capability of undergoing reactions common to both groups. As an amine, MEA is mildly alkaline and react with acids to form salts or soaps. As an alcohol, MEA is hygroscopic and can be esterified.
PRIMENE 81-R AMINE:
PRIMENE™ 81-R Amine is a primary aliphatic amine that has highly branched alkyl chains with use in petroleum applications for fuel additives and corrosion inhibition. PRIMENE 81-R consists of a mixture of isomeric amines in the C12-C14 range.
ACUMER 5000
ACUMER 5000 is a proprietary multifunctional polymer with a molecular weight of 5000 that provides outstanding silica and magnesium silicate scale inhibition. ACUMER 5000 prevents silica-based scale formation by dispersing colloidal silica and by preventing magnesium silicate scale formation at heat transfer surfaces ACUMER 5000 has been evaluated under field conditions, allowing up to 300 ppm silica in the recirculating water without scale.
ACUSOL 830:
ACUSOL 830 is an Alkali Soluble acrylic polymer Emulsion (ASE). ACUSOL 830 can be directly incorporated into formulations without preparation of a separate thickener solution. Viscosity is developed simply by adjusting the pH on the alkaline side with any base. It is supplied as low viscosity emulsion and therefore is easy to handle.
ACUSOL 830 contains carboxylic groups that immediately swell upon neutralization.
Norit GAC 830W :
Norit GAC 830 W is a granular activated carbon, which is suitable in a wide range of applications such as purification of (potable) water and industrial process liquids. Norit GAC 830 W is very suitable for removal of f.i. natural organics, pesticides, detergents, chlorinated solvents and compounds causing taste and odour problems. Norit GAC 830 W is produced by steam activation of coal; its superior hardness makes it particularly suited for thermal reactivation. Norit GAC 830 W meets the requirements of the latest version of the U.S. Food Chemicals Codex and the Drinking Water Standard EN 12915 (European Normalisation,2003)
Norit 1240 X:
Norit 1240X is an acid washed granular activated carbon, which offers both superior adsorption properties and a very high purity level. Typical applications of Norit 1240X include purification of organic and inorganic acids, fine chemicals and pharmaceutical intermediates. Norit 1240X is produced by steam activation of select grades of coal; its superior hardness makes it particularly suited for fixed or pulse bed operations as well as for thermal reactivation.
Norit GAC 400 PLUS:
Norit 1240X is an acid washed granular activated carbon, which offers both superior adsorption properties and a very high NORIT GAC 400 PLUS is an acid washed granular activated carbon of high purity produced by steam activation of select grades of coal. As a result of a unique patented activation process and stringent quality control, NORIT GAC 400 PLUS offers excellent adsorption properties in applications where a high purity carbon is needed. It is recommended for use in chemical, food, pharmaceutical and high purity water applications. NORIT GAC 400 PLUS meets all AWWA B604 standards for potable water use and meets NSF/ANSI Standard 61. NORIT CASPF:
Norit CASPF is very suitable for the purification of highly coloured and/or foaming process liquids in fine chemicals and pharmaceutical industries. Norit CASPF combines a superior adsorptive capacity with good filtration characteristics. It is especially effective in adsorbing higher molecular weight organics such as dark colour bodies and proteins, at low carbon dosage rates. TREVERLITE IXA360/Cl is a high performing strongly basic, macroporous anion exchange resin type 2 (dimethyl ethanol ammonium groups) with a crosslinked polystyrene matrix for the treatment of potable water and food products. It is primarily used where high capacity, low ionic leakage and high decolorisation performance is required.
TREVERLITE IXA360/Cl has a good ion exchange capacity and has an outstanding mechanical and osmotic stability, which makes it unique for demineralisation and decolorisation units. In sweeteners it is used for both, the demineralisation of glucose syrups and the decolorisation of sucrose syrups in the soft drink industry. TREVERLITE IXA360/Cl is showing a very good adsorption and desorption performance of organic substances and has a high resistance to organic fouling compared to standard strong base anion exchange resins. It is primarily used where high capacity, low ionic leakage and a high regeneration efficiency is required. The basicity is slightly below a type 1 anion exchange resin. However a type 1 anionic resin should be used whenever maximum effectiveness in retaining weak acids, like silica and carbon dioxide, and a minimum leakage is desired

TREVERLITE IXA410/Cl has a low silica leakage and an excellent stability to physical attrition and osmotic shock. Due to its irreversible swelling in the first few operating cycles (approx. 7%), a slightly higher pressure drop might be observed in the beginning of the resin life.
TREVER®|LITE IXA510/CL (For demineralisation and decolourisation)
TREVERLITE IXA510/Cl is a high performing strongly basic, macroporous anion exchange resin type 1 (quaternary ammonium groups) with a crosslinked polyacrylic matrix for the treatment of water and food products. It is primarily used when the solution to be treated is highly contaminated with organic substances.
TREVERLITE IXA510/Cl has been designed for the decolourisation of liquid sugar syrups or when high molecular weight organic colour bodies have to be removed in bioprocessing applications such as natural plant extracts. It can also be used in the recovery of antibiotics from fermentation broth.
TREVERLITE IXA510/Cl has a good ion exchange capacity and has an outstanding mechanical and osmotic stability, which makes it unique for demineralization and decolourisation units. In liquid sugar syrups it is often used in combination with TREVERLITE IXA310/Cl where the latter is used to reach very low colour levels (< 35 ICUMSA) and an excellent lifetime of the ion exchange resins. The acrylic matrix of TREVERLITE IXA510/Cl allows for very efficient regeneration and is significantly less sensitive to organic fouling as compared to styrenic resins.
